The primary purpose of this post is to provide essential sports science support and expertise to the British Rowing Olympic Men’s programme. This role will be managed by the Performance Science Lead with the daily deployment of the post-holder led by the Olympic Head Coach - Men.

Sports Science Support
- Conduct physiological testing and biomechanical monitoring as agreed with the coaches and Performance Science Lead. - Collect video and GPS data to provide technical insight to the coaches.

Training Load Monitoring

- Organise, collect, and process training load data from training and racing scenarios.

Programme Support

- Attend and contribute to regular rowing performance reviews for the Men’s squad.
- Collaborate with the NTC staff to ensure athlete training, recovery, and race day preparation needs are catered for.
