The Intern, Mascot Operations works under the direction of the Manager, Mascot Operations to support the planning and execution of all areas of mascot operations. The role will serve as the lead handler for the primary performer and as the primary back-up performer for appearances. This position plays a key role in ensuring the mascot program delivers engaging, professional, and memorable experiences that strengthen fan connections and support the Minnesota Wild's community and organizational initiatives.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Assist the Manger, Mascot Operations in the day-to-day planning and execution of all program functionality.
• Act as the lead handler for the primary mascot performer at all Minnesota Wild home games and key mascot appearances, when necessary.
• Assume the role of the primary back-up performer, executing in-costume appearances, including but not limited to school shows, season ticket member events, community events, and corporate functions.
