Reporting to the CEO, this role will drive VA’s people and culture strategy, driving workforce development, culture-building, and HR best practice across Volleyball Australia and its member bodies. You’ll play a central role in leading the delivery of core P&C functions and initiatives that strengthen alignment, capability, and employee experience across the network, while also overseeing the roll-out of the Employment Hero digital HR platform.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement a national people and culture strategy aligned to the sport’s vision.
• Develop initiatives to promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive organisational culture.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes across the network.
• Support capability development, performance systems and change initiatives.
