Social Impact Cycling Coach, Manchester - Access Sport CIO
Access Sport are looking to appoint a Social Impact Cycling Coach to deliver accessible and inclusive cycling sessions using BMX as a tool to engage and build self-efficacy amongst inactive, underserved and disabled young people.
We believe every young person should have:
• Access to a bike.
• The skills and confidence to use it.
• Somewhere local, safe and exciting to enjoy riding.
We work across 3 areas:
• Facilities: We build exciting, accessible, and inclusive places to ride
that are accessible to underserved communities and are free to
use, with equipment on-site.
• Community Outreach: We deliver specialist cycle training to
inactive, disadvantaged and disabled young people in local schools.
• Clubs: We empower local people to create cycling communities by
developing regular and inclusive access to equipment and training.
