The Chicago Stars are transforming Chicago, and we’re looking for a transformational HR leader to collaboratively drive the culture and employee experience in our organization. You will serve as a strategic thought partner with executive leadership and be responsible for the people and culture strategies for the Chicago Stars. This role will develop, direct and execute the strategy, policies, programs, processes and initiatives necessary to deliver on organizational people strategies and ensure legal compliance as well as provide oversight and direction to human resources team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate maturity, self-awareness, empathy and a high degree of confidentiality when handling all day-to-day matters, which include talent management, program and systems management, employee relations and engagement, compensation and benefits administration as well as driving organizational culture and change. This role will also serve as our Player Safety Officer, which is a critical role that ensures league compliance, education and training, and policy development.
