The Director, Benefits is a strategic partner and subject matter expert responsible for establishing and implementing processes and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.  
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for the management and administration of employee benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, long term disability, flexible spending accounts and commuter benefits.
• Manage employee leaves including short- and long-term disability, childcare leave, paid family leave and family medical leave.
• Manage relationships with brokers, vendors, insurance carriers and all service providers.
• Develop a comprehensive communication strategy for all benefit and wellness programs to educate and inform employees on their benefit options and how to utilize them effectively.
• Maintain all benefit polices, ensuring compliance with regulations, analyzing program effectiveness and that materials are up to date.
